Biography
Dr Mohammed Alaa Almoghayer is a Chartered Engineer and a certified Project Manager with over 20 years of global experience in the energy sector. He has led multi-billion-dollar oil and gas infrastructure projects with Petrofac and delivered strategic renewable energy, grid integration, and energy storage projects with AtkinsRéalis. He holds a PhD in Renewable Energy (Tidal Energy) from Heriot-Watt University and has made significant academic and industrial contributions through innovative research, optimisation of wind and tidal energy systems, and the advancement of clean energy technologies. He is the Founder and Director of RenewX Ltd, an Honorary Researcher at the University of Strathclyde, and an Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Modern Energy.
